Plants are fragile. We do not recommend you attempt to move them a long distance.
Plants will not have water, light or air in a moving van. We suggest you give plants to friends, area hospitals, nursing homes, etc. If you must move them, and you can’t take them in your car, refer to our section on Pets, Plants and Children.

Take time as soon as you know you're planning to move to obtain copies of records you will need for service providers, i.e. medical, dental, vision, veterinary, school, etc. Take care of these things before you become busy with packing and all the other details.
